Production Method of Tungsten Trioxide
Tungsten trioxide may be prepared by double salt method. It is identified by relevant technical supervision departments that the relationship between particle size and apparent density of tungsten trioxide produced by double salt method is as follows:
1. The larger the particle size is, the greater the apparent density is.
2. The smaller the particle size is, the smaller the apparent density is.
3. At the same granularity, the more complex the shape is, the smaller the apparent density is.
According to their different uses, the particle size of tungsten oxide is roughly classified as follows:
1. Coarse tungsten trioxide: apparent density is 1.2~1.6g/cm3;
2. Medium tungsten trioxide: apparent density is 0.8~1.0g/cm3;
3. Fine tungsten trioxide: apparent density is 0.5~0.7g/cm3;
4. Ultrafine tungsten trioxide: apparent density is less than 0.4g/cm3.
