According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, from January to November 2025, China's imports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps, the same below) totaled 20,100 tons, representing a year-on-year increase of 35.72% compared to the same period in 2024; the import value reached RMB 2.739 billion, a year-on-year increase of 37.20%.

Among them, from January to November 2025, China imported:
Tungsten ores & concentrates: 17,700 tons, a year-on-year increase of 60.55%.
Calcium wolframate: 136.99 tons, a year-on-year increase of 36.14%.
Ammonium metatungstate: 210 kg, compared to only 3 kg in the same period last year.
Tungsten powders: 32.57 tons, a year-on-year increase of 27.71%.
Unwrought tungsten, including bars & rods obtained simply by sintering: 2,431 kg, a year-on-year increase of 20.65%.
Tungsten wire: 5,267 kg, a year-on-year increase of 9.68%.
Tungstic acid: 30.11 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 63.11%.
Tungsten trioxides: 39.96 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 51.48%.
Other tungsten oxides & hydroxides, nes: 40.04 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 45.16%.
Tungsten hexafluoride: 413.29 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.00%.
Ammonium paratungstate: 2,007 kg, a year-on-year decrease of 97.49%.
Sodium tungstate: 1,574.31 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 41.28%.
Carbides of tungsten: 55.87 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 52.54%.
Ferro-tungsten: 12.05 kg, a year-on-year decrease of 70.63%.
Bars & rods, exclude those obtained simply by sintering; profiles, plates, etc: 5,432 kg, a year-on-year decrease of 51.52%.
Additionally, from January to November 2025, China imported:
Knives and cutting blades, for machines or for mechanical appliances, of metal carbides, coated or plated: 677.88 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.56%.
Other knives and cutting blades, for machines or for mechanical appliances, of metal carbides: 510.74 tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.04%.
