According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, in October 2025, China's imports of tungsten products totaled 2,285.52 tons, representing a year-on-year increase of 12.31% but a month-on-month decrease of 0.25%; the import value reached RMB 385 million, a year-on-year increase of 49.16% and a month-on-month increase of 10.97%.
In October 2025, China imported:
Tungsten ores & concentrates: 2,108.58 tons, a year-on-year increase of 24.93% and a month-on-month decrease of 0.37%.
Tungsten trioxides: 10.54 tons, a year-on-year increase of 310.91% and a month-on-month increase of 219.52%.
Other tungsten oxides & hydroxides, nes: 3 kg, a year-on-year increase of 200.00% and a month-on-month decrease of 90.00%.
Tungsten hexafluoride: 38.98 tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.44% and a month-on-month increase of 8.98%.
Sodium tungstate: 62.32 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 75.81% and a month-on-month decrease of 49.87%.
Calcium wolframate: 58.68 tons, with no recorded imports in October 2024 or September 2025.
Carbides of tungsten: 150 kg, a year-on-year decrease of 94.59% and a month-on-month decrease of 96.50%.
Ferro-tungsten: 36 kg, a year-on-year decrease of 99.74%, with no recorded imports in September 2025.
Tungsten powders: 3,342 kg, a year-on-year increase of 142.70% and a month-on-month increase of 2.42%.
Tungsten wire: 452 kg, a year-on-year increase of 32.55% and a month-on-month decrease of 39.73%.
Bars & rods, exclude those obtained simply by sintering; profiles, plates, etc: 343 kg, a year-on-year decrease of 84.32% and a month-on-month increase of 111.73%.
Additionally, in October 2025, China imported:
