In July 2025, China’s molybdenum price trend was characterized by an initial rise, followed by stability, and then another rise. In terms of average prices, molybdenum concentrate average price was 3,995 yuan per ton-unit, increased by 4.09% month-on-month; the average price of ferromolybdenum was 255,217 yuan per ton, increased by 3.31% month-on-month; the average price of molybdenum oxide was 4,124 yuan per ton-unit, increased by 4.72% month-on-month; the average price of ammonium heptamolybdate was 247,174 yuan per ton, increased by 3.53% month-on-month; and the average price of molybdenum powder was 449 yuan per kilogram, increased by 2.05% month-on-month.
