On July 19, the Yarlung Zangbo River downstream hydropower project officially started. The Yarlung Zangbo River downstream hydropower project is expected to have a total investment of 1.2 trillion yuan within ten years. It will build a 5-level hydropower station with a scale three times that of the Three Gorges Dam in a high-altitude mountainous area of more than 3,000 meters above sea level in Linzhi, Tibet, with a straight-line distance of about 50 kilometers and a drop of more than 2,000 meters. At least 6 huge super tunnels for power generation will be built, crossing the mountains and extremely high drops of the Pacific and Indian Ocean plates, which are prone to earthquakes, to achieve the most difficult, most invested, and most water-logged infrastructure and hydropower projects in human history, so that my country's green energy share will increase by 3%, which will not only change my country's energy structure and pattern, but more importantly, it will provide more than 3 million jobs, completely change the economy of the Tibetan region, and significantly change my country's geopolitical pattern, so that my country can provide the extremely scarce power supply to the countries along the Belt and Road. This project has greatly exerted the infrastructure capacity of my country's "infrastructure maniacs", and has greatly exerted my country's international leading level of ultra-high voltage power transmission and transformation, and has greatly exerted the rich water resources in western my country!
