Ferro Tungsten is an alloy with tungsten and iron as the main components, usually containing 65%-85% tungsten, a small amount of iron and other trace elements. It is smelted in an electric arc furnace or a metallurgical furnace and has high density, high hardness and excellent high temperature resistance. Ferro Tungsten is widely used in the steel industry as an additive to improve the hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of steel, especially in the manufacture of high-speed steel, tool steel and heat-resistant alloys.
