A Preparation Method of High Purity Ammonium Paratungstate
Pour 215 L of deionized water in a heated 200 L stirred reactor. Add 200 kg of APT·10H2O with stirring. Then, the suspension was treated at 90 °C for 2 h with stirring. When the molar ratio of NH3: W is 0.77: 1, the NH3 concentration in the liquid phase is 2.1 g/L. The pH at room temperature is 6.8. The mass ratio of solid to aqueous solution is 0.80: 1. After the treatment, the suspension was filtered, the product was washed with 10 L of deionized water, and finally dried at 100 °C to obtain 184 kg (corresponding to a yield of 95.3%) of high purity ammonium paratungstate.
