Because the advanced tungsten copper functionally graded material received extensive attention from the international academic community, and quickly became the hot topic of materials sector and expand its application areas because of its great,advanced design.But it’s still a long way for tungsten copper functionally graded materials to be used in the developing society. At present, although it has developed many new techniques, new technology, but some common problems are still existed:

1.Insufficient researching on new manufacturing process and new technology, we need to make a further understanding of its controlling factors and impact mechanism.
2.The using scopes of each process are relative narrow, we need to develop the new manufacturing process with high efficient,low cost,wide application and easy to control.

From a functional view to see the W/Cu FGMs development,a new generation preparation process technology will provide a broader prospects for the development and application of new materials and new technologies. Therefore, developing new materials preparation process and designing new composite materials are important steps for improving the performance of the materials. It will be the next major development direction for W/Cu FGMs to realize the broader applications and large-scale industrial production.
