For now, the main measures to improve the density of tungsten-copper alloy are the followings:

1.Infiltration process
Infiltration process refers to a processing method for filling the pores unsintered or sintered with the metal or alloy which melting point is lower than the products. For infiltration process, the importance of improving the density of tungsten copper is to control the pores of tungsten matrix skeleton.

2.Direct sintering process
Sintering process means to heat the powder or powder compacts then make its temperature lower than the melting point of basic component.After that,cooling the powder or powder compacts to room temperature in a certain way.The sintered powder particles bonded and the strength of the sintered body would be increased, the aggregates of powder particles turned into the agglomerates of grains, so as to obtain the materials or products which have a physical and mechanical performance. For the direct sintering process,the importance of  improving the density of tungsten copper alloy is focus on improving the powder activity and decreasing the particle size.

3.Do not use additives.
Additives are auxiliary chemicals that was widely used in industrial production for improving production processes, product quality and yield, or endowing specific application performance of the products.But using additives will reduce the density and performance of tungsten copper alloy.Therefore,no matter what the preparation process is used,try not to use a molding aid.
